Movie Premiere: Love Matters

Okay! Today (Or rather, yesterday) was the movie premiere of Jack Neo's new film: Love Matters and I was lucky enough to get invited by Yong Wei few weeks ago to the premiere with him! Which means I get to meet our local celebrities!

So yesterday was the day. Yong Wei and I met up in Serangoon MRT. We were supposed to meet there on 7pm as planned but we were both late and ended up in the train only at 8.10pm (If I didn't recall wrongly).


When we reached Vivo City, we headed to the theatre immediately and we got the ticket from the guys who are all from www(Dot)omy(Dot)sg, and went to a gift shop. Yong Wei wanted to buy a birthday card for Jack Neo as his birthday is coming (I think...).

And here are some pictures of the card that he had bought. I didn't want to be a part of it as I personally, don't really like Jack Neo that much (But I like his work) so I didn't pay for the card but regardless of that, Yong Wei wrote my name in it.

And you know what's so funny about this card? Yong Wei wrote Happy 38th Birthday in the card when he HAD absolutely no clue what is Jack's age! But what the heck, we just laughed it off and headed back to the premiere, where the red carpets are laid for the movie's casts arrival.

The Host, Chen Jian Bin (Marcus Chin), is addressing the audience and reporters. I'm quite amazed by the absence of Mark Lee as these 2 guys usually host shows and events together.

Okay, Jack Neo has arrived! Yong Wei gave him the card and took a photo with him! Too bad I can't join them, I had to take the picture for them...

After the director (Jack) and the casts came, everyone started heading inside, to the theatre. I thought we were gonna start watching the film already but before we got into the theatre (That's the place where movies are played right?), there was a buffet just outside it. People were restricted from going into theatre as it is not opened yet. But hey, since no one was allowed to go in, everyone (Even celebrities!) stayed around and socialized as they take some of the food that were displayed. Yong Wei and I didn't eat much though...

They're mostly desserts but there are chickens drumsticks too.

YW then started standing around like a bouncer which made me come up with an idea to make him look more like one. Stand in front of the entrance to the theatre!

After the theatre is opened for everyone, we headed in.

And we found 2 familiar faces! The old female actresses of the Jteam! Ya Min and Jing Jing!

We got to our seats and what do you know? We're seated right in the middle! Good place to take some pictures haha. Then we got our goody bags and guess what we've got? 'New Moon Brand' Rice and cooking oil! LOL

The hosts, Marcus and a radio DJ from Malaysia, came down to address the audience!

The Whole cast were then, invited down to give a speech.

The movie then started. Got to say, its a nice film. I found myself smiling on the first half of the show and ended up laughing on the other half. Don't want to talk much about it as I might spill some spoilers! But there is something that I want to say and that is, sadly... Not all of the footage that had appeared in the trailer were actually shown in the movie itself...

Anyway, the movie ended and we headed to the toilet.

Later then, we noticed that the last train will be leaving soon and we ran down the station and through a couple of escalators before we got to the train. Luckily for us, we made it. We chat on a train for awhile and YW shared some of his stories on how he had to take a cab to get home as he missed the last train and bus. He also mentioned that he had actually gotten a free ride by telling a taxi driver that he had no money and had to get home... Sounds like a tall tale to me...

We parted when I got to my stop on the train and took a bus home. I thought I missed my last bus! Luckily for me, I think the bus I took was the last one for the day! I took some pictures on my way home as my friends told me before, that the path which leads to my home is very creepy.

Nah, just playing with ya... Not scary? I don't care! Lol

Anyway, YW and I took a picture with Henry Thia (Or Hui-ge), the main cast of the movie, but the picture is not available yet. Will put it up soon!

Right now, I'm currently preparing to buy a birthday gift for my twin brother heh heh. The item that I'm gonna get for him is actually something that I've always been wanting to give him since last year (No gay thoughts please).

More will be revealed after I give him his present on 12 Feb! (Or maybe earlier... I dunno!)

Damn! Still sick...

Wow, I've been sick for like... A week? Well anyway, I AM still sick... With a little cough, runny nose + nose block and slight fever.

But hey, at least I am getting better. If I'm living in the past, I'm sure I'd be attending my funeral now haha.

Anyway, during my sick days, I've been thinking... What's the point of life? I don't have much to live for if I were to think about it. Which I did and it made me felt very... In-normal.

To be honest, sometimes I wish that I am like my brothers. They're all like, have a purpose in life. At least that is what I think.

When I was sick, all I did was just watch tv, have lunch, tv, nap, have dinner, tv and it goes on straight for the past few days. Of course there are random time slots where 'Shower' would be included...

Anyway, the point is, I don't really know why I am alive.

But somehow, I felt a purpose to live on after I saw another episode of "Supernatural" this morning around 1.30am. I don't know what feeling it was that made me feel normal but hell yeah I'm gonna take that feeling to motivate me to live since I am still, well, alive haha.

I'm not gonna talk about my 'O' level result today even though I got it last week and haven't blog about it yet so... Maybe next time...

Anyway, I just received news from Yong Wei that his cell phone has been confiscated by his school which I find, very VERY VERY RIDICULOUS!!!

He had stated in his blog that the school had to do so "for further investigations". C'mon... What's there to investigate anyway...? Just change the way they deal with the students on the national anthem issues and GET ON WITH LIFE!

Sick...

Zzzzz I was supposed to accompany Yong Wei to Peninsula today but well... Fell sick. So, I didn't go for my haircut and stayed home to recuperate the whole day today lol but there are some interesting stuff that had happened today.

The first thing that I knew when I just woke up, is my twin brother, Alphonso, is watching his new "Magic" DVD which he had burrowed from his friend. This picture is the DVD that he was watching. Oh, he is a professional street magician and he LOVES to "Hustle" people lol

After he finished watching his DVD, we started playing with our old 'WWE RAW DEAL' trading card game and we practically spent half of the afternoon playing lol. Even though I forgot to take some photos, it is still some good time that we had as we reminisce on the days when we used to play like a pro even though we do get our asses pwned lol.

Then, our 2nd bro, Sampson, came in as he was bored. He spent some time watching us "Wrestle" as he asked us on some stuff about the game. Then we shared some racist jokes (Sorry, can't share them here).

Just like that, the whole afternoon was "Wasted away" XD

I was feeling worst as time went by... When it was time for dinner, I didn't even have the appetite to eat and I ended up giving almost all of my share of prawn to Alp. Oh, we had Fried prawns, egg, bean curd and some vegetable salad for dinner (No pictures, forgot to take them).

After dinner, I was feeling worst... I walked to the room to take a picture of the Magic DVD box and then my brother came and told me to look at his hair. It was messy with his fringe covering his face. Then, I wanted to take a picture of him that way but he only allowed me to take after he made his hair haha.

Then, he started playing with his hair with my phone...

A real funny guy if you get to know him. Not to mention a lot more good looking than me lol But hey, maybe if I lose some of my pimples (Zits) and scars, I might be better looking than him =D

First Day of break after working...

Its been awhile since I took a break from work... Okay... To be honest, its just been 2 days since I've started going to an MLM company to "Work" and I'm already beaten because of my weird sleeping timing. Even now, I'm still using the computer on 5am. Yup, haven't got any sleep yet...

So, I've been having insufficient amount of sleep right? Reason? I went to "Work" for the past 2 days:
1st day - Played and recorded guitar when I got home... (Went by with no sleep),
2nd day - Went to work again and then, came home sick (Fever) on the 2nd day (I'm so weak lol).

Anyway, after the 2nd day (Friday), its Saturday (Obviously)and well, I got a miss call from my Primary school friend, Hui Jun while I was asleep so, I called her back and she invited me to go to Temasek Polytechnic (TP) Open house with her. Actually, before her, another friend of mine asked me too, to go to another Polytechnic, but I backed out because I was sick and in the end, I went with Hui Jun when I've felt better so I'd like to apologize to you, Angelo! Sorry! I'll try to make it up to you!

Alright! Now that all the long-winded intro are done, lets see some of the pictures that I had captured while I was with Hui Jun in TP.

This is the first um... Experiment? That we had saw after talking to a few people about the course on Veterinarian course, which, Hui Jun is interested in. Don't worry, the dog is not real XD

That cute girl who is holding onto a heartworm is Hui Jun! It took a while but, I was able to get her to pose for me! Lol

Another "Experiment". This time, its a cat but somehow, in this photo, it doesn't look like one... And she said that my photography skills are bad! She snatched my phone and took this one! Lol just kidding about her being bad at photography. If I didn't recall wrongly, she told me something about angles just now...

Well, this one is taken by her when we've decided to leave TP. The balloons were bigger IRL which Hui Jun finds fascinating lol. Oh, this time, its taken with her own mobile haha.

There were actually more photos which shows pictures of her reading a Veterinarian book. If you were there, you'd be amaze at the way she reads the book... That book was kinda thick and she literally glanced through the whole book! I stood beside her, looking around for, I'm sure, at least 20 to 30 minutes, doing nothing but looking around. And that was also when I started snapping pictures out of boredom LOL

But Hui Jun deleted the pictures of her reading when she had my phone with her without me knowing... After I had found out, it was already too late... Wasted! She looks kinda cute while reading lol Just her reaction when she saw the cute animals in the pages was enough to make me laugh... "So Cute!" But then again, there were mostly pictures on seriously illed animals (Duh, Veterinarian book, remember?) which is really heart breaking. So many innocent looking animals were shown having lots of weird diseases! I really hope that Hui Jun will be successful as a Veterinarian now lol.

Well thats for the afternoon. After we took the MRT on the Green line, she stopped at 'Bugis' to go and buy more clothings... Girls these days... Lol

So, after seeing her off, I text messaged Yong Wei and well, we met up later and had dinner around his HDB flat's neighborhood. In case you guys are wondering, is this the Yong Wei from www.iamnotfat.net? Yes, it is. The forever sarcastic and self-proclaimed cute (Lol) um... Big boned guy... Take a look at his blog if you haven't!

I took a picture of him while he was taking his own sweet time, walking across the traffic light lol it was hilarious because he was walking as if the road was owned by his grandfather. When he had finally reached me on the other side of the road, he told me something about government spending their funds on the wrong thing like decorations (There were lots of colorful bulbs hanging around) and not roads or something like that. I can't really remember.

Well, just finished recording some stuff and still, trying to finish a lyric for a new song. Maybe I'll continue later and go to bed now...
